Hawaii Day Two

Our second day in Hawaii started early at 0440, thanks to somebody's confused body clock (when can we teach her to tell time?!). Luckily Kent and I were relieved by another confused body (nana!) at about quarter to six, and we were able to doze a bit more. We awoke to find that Nana, poppi, and Taylee had ventured out and about and were getting familiar with the pool and the ocean. We all grabbed a quick breakfast and headed out for a day of fun in the sun. We split our time between the hotel's SEVEN beautiful pools, and the beach. The boys got to boogie board a little, the girls got some exercise running Taylee up and down the beach, and a great time was had by all!

Skyler practicing his snorkel skills in the hot tub.
The boys suffered a few cuts and scrapes from the coral in the water. They decided maybe it wasn't the best boogie boarding beach.

I was shocked when Taylee was ready for a nap by noon! (although I shouldn't have been, she got up at 0440!). This from a girl who thinks she has outgrown naps at home. She was a super napper in Hawaii. We usually had to wake her after 2 1/2 hours, and you'd think she had just gone to sleep. Crazy how much the time change affected her.

That evening we dined at the Lahaina Pizza Company (formerly BJ's Pizza), and it was just as good as we remembered it. Yummy!
