Black Island Farms

It took two attempts, but we finally made it to Black Island Farms, our local corn maze, hay ride, pumpkin patch, and all around good fall time! We were joined by Grandma and Grandpa Judson, Kenzie, Nana & Poppi, and Skyler & Monica. I hope we get to do this for many years to come. I may not love fall (only because it means winter is coming . . . ), but I love the fall festivities!
And I thought cornflower was just a color!

Kenzie, looking cute as always, and Taylee refusing to cooperate with photo ops, as always.

Hay slides! Fun for everyone!

Fall Family Fotos

While taking this year's family photos I learned it is hard to hold a smile for a looong time while the photographer works her tushy off trying to get a smile out of your daughter! But, alas, I think we got a good one! Now, if only I could go back and rethink Taylee's outfit. Hmmmm.

So grateful that I married into this wonderful family!
The Judson kids: Mark, Scott, Shelly, and Kent
The poor photographer had her work cut out for her with this one!
Thanks so much Grandma Judson for organizing this photo shoot! We are so grateful for all you do!

Fall for the zoo

Kent and I were lucky enough to take another trip to the zoo with Taylee in September, and this time we were joined by Grandma and Grandpa Judson, Uncle Scott and Kira. The more the merrier for us, and we had a blast. It was our first opportunity to check out the new Rocky Shores exhibit at the zoo. It was super cool! It looks like they are making even more fun and exciting changes to the zoo. Can't wait for next summer!

My Cheesy Pleasy. Rarely do I catch a full grin on camera. So cute!

Not cute at all. But super cool!

Me, my girl, and the giraffes. Hopefully a future sight of zoo improvements!

Cute Stuff at Rocky Shores. Checking out the polar bear.

Beautiful, Three Year Old Taylee

I am so excited to finally get to share these amazing photos of my beautiful little sweetheart. My friend Whitney, currently a nurse and part-time photographer (soon to be a full time photographer in my opinion!), set up an adorable little tea party, and voila! Taylee and Whit were best buddies. The beauty of Whitney's photography skill is matched only by my lovely daughter. And, nope, I am not at all biased!

We didn't Win!

So, we went back to Denver this weekend for ANOTHER Broncos game. Sadly, we were a little less lucky this time. Fortunately, although we lost, the game was a blast! The Broncos took a bit of a whooping in the first half, and were slow to recover in the 3rd quarter. But the fourth quarter was a doozy! Too bad they couldn't quite pull it out! We even got a few cheering and dancing opportunities towards the end with our super fun fellow season ticket holder Andy. Who I will never see again. Darn! She was a blast for the last two games! Next week, I guess Aunt Ginger will have to hold up our reputation in section 503. Kent and I are done for the year, but Skyler is headed over with my mom and dad in October, so we will be well represented. This year's games were so much fun, we are considering going THREE times next year! Yikes! If we can afford it, that is!

Haha! I saw these fab Broncos tutus and fairy wings from the back, and ran over for a photo-op before I realized they were selling OTC meds and representing Heartburn and Headache! Doh!

Free Face Painting in the Stadium? Yes, please!

Pre-game warm-ups.

Our fabulous travelling companions, Scott and Renae. Too bad we couldn't give them a "better" experience. As in, a win!

Digging the Broncos fun in the sun!

WE Win!!

Last weekend brought our annual trip to Denver for the Broncos game. This year Kent and I and Mark and Amber were joined by our friends Darren and Clare. They added a whole new dimension of fun to an already fabulous trip. We are so glad they could join us!
The game was a Sunday night game, so we had ALL day to pub crawl and get pumped for the game.  This worked out really well for most of us, but not so great for Darren and Clare, who were roasted, toasted and done by game time. I guess the excitement of the game was a little less intense for the two non-Bronco fans, and they ditched us in the second quarter. Guess that's what happens when you have the beer sampler in front of you at 11 am, followed by the Bloody Mary bar, followed by beer, beer, and more beer. Since I'm a lightweight, I refrained from the festivities til game time. Smart move, if I do say so myself!

Amber (aka The Savage) and the lovely Clare

Welcome to the Bloody Mary bar. Clare was devising quite the cocktail for herself. Complete with cucumber slices, horseradish, a pickle, and a jalapeno! And yes, she actually drank it! And another after that!

As Clare would say "skinny arm!"

Tailgating, Judson Style

Clare, a model in her other life.

Darren, cringing in his orange shirt, that we MADE him wear. :0)

Celebration time!!!

The best part about our trip?! The Broncos won!! First win we have seen firsthand in a four game stretch, spanning 3 years. Hallelujah!

"Look How Big I'm Am!"

Yes, indeed, Taylee is a school girl! As she likes to say "look how big I'm am!"
Here she is, a couple weeks ago, getting ready for the "Back to School" Party.
Otherwise known as the "First time to School" Party.

Here she is, all ready to go to school!

She became a bit more timid outside the comfort of our home.

The smiles were all gone by this time. Even with her bestest buddy Treyzon.
Although Taylee was timid and shy to begin with, by the time I picked her up two hours later, she was all smiles and in LOVE with Miss Amanda. "Miss Amanda says her wants me to come back tomorrow!" Mommy definitely agrees! Yay for preschool!
