This was the unfortunate year in which I had to work the Christmas holiday. Unfortunately, due to changing scheduling practices at work, and my recent promotion to Charge Nurse, I had to work Christmas Eve night. Not the best situation, but we survived!
While I was busy slaving away (wink, wink... it was actually a really long, slow night at work), Kent, Skyler, and Taylee were busy partying it up at Grandma Judson's traditional Christmas Eve dinner.

When I got home in the morning, the festivities commenced! Nana and Poppi came down for Christmas morning, and met me when I came home. Kent had Taylee trapped in our room waiting for my arrival before she saw what Santa had brought.

After our Christmas morning celebration, I pushed through on no sleep, and we headed to Grandma and Grandpa Judson's for some lunch and a little visit. The kids got new clothes, and a special little something in their stockings. In addition to gifts, I got to enjoy some leftovers from the Christmas Ham and cheesy potatoes that I missed out on while I was at work on the night before!Yum!!

Yes, Taylee is in her PJ's. She figured if mom didn't have to get dressed, why should she?! |
We finished off our Christmas celebration with a little afternoon nap for mom (finally!), and Christmas dinner at Nana and Poppi's. All in all, it was a fantastic Christmas Day. We are so infinitely blessed!
