Earlier this year, we found out that my mom's cousin Kathy (whom I had never met before), was diagnosed with ALS. She is a loving, kind woman, and had a wish to have all her family come together in celebration for her 60th birthday. Thus, the idea for Kathy's Crusade was born!
Kathy's Crusade was a family reunion/Caribbean Cruise (awesome, right?!). We flew to Fort Lauderdale just 5 days after we got home from the wedding in Las Vegas. A crazy week for sure!
